This site aims to provide the first point of inquiry for those interested in plasma physics at Oxford. We have one of the largest plasma communities in the UK. There are research groups with plasma interests in three subdepartments of the Department of Physics, as well as in Applied Mathematics. We also work in close cooperation with three UK national laboratories located nearby: CCFE, RAL and AWE.

The experimental work is done at the three national labs mentioned above and in the subdepartment of Atomic and Laser Physics; the theoreticians are (loosely) organised in a research group, about whose members and activities further information is available here.
