MMathPhys/MSc

(aka Oxford Theoretical Minimum, aka Oxford Part IV)

This is a new joint venture between Oxford Physics and the Maths Institute: a one-year Master Course in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics, started in 2015. There are several plasma-related courses within this new programme:

KINETIC THEORY (P. Dellar, A. Schekochihin & J. Binney)

ADVANCED FLUID DYNAMICS (A. Schekochihin & P. Dellar)

COLLISIONLESS PLASMA PHYSICS (F. Parra)

COLLISIONAL PLASMA PHYSICS (F. Parra)

ASTROPHYSICAL GAS DYNAMICS (C. Terquem & P. Podsiadlowski)

These courses are also offered to graduate students under the auspices

of the Centre for Postgraduate Training in Plasma Physics and

High-Energy-Density Science. Other Oxford courses within the Centre:

ATOMIC PHYSICS IN HOT PLASMAS (P. Norreys)

HIGH-ENERGY-DENSITY PHYSICS (T. Bell, G. Gregori, P. Norreys)
